Much of the lettering for past comics were done with Sunday Comics BB from http://blambot.com/.
However...I finally made my own handwritten font!
With yourfont.com, anyone can make a handwritten font for comics, letters, etc. at $5. I highly recommend it to other webcomics. Here's a sample:
